In 1984, Laurens Spethmann Holding AG & Co. KG (LSH) took over the MEDIN factory. Investments in a substantial expansion were started in 1986, and the second con- struction phase was comple- ted with start-up of operations in 1995. The entire factory terrain today includes approximately 13.000 m².

tea production is not part of their operations. The focus of production in the MEDIN company lies with instant teas, sweeteners and snack bars.
The staff is employed in the production of sweeteners in tablet form, fluid sweeteners, tea granulates, as well as
fruit-, muesli- and cereal-bars, in a variety of flavours and different packaging sizes. Under the trademarks SCHNEEKOPPE, Veelmann, HUXOL, and MILFORD, as well as a large number of private labels, domestic and foreign customers are offered a wide range of tasty products. |
